This summer, OWS completed two R&D projects focusing on the development of a biological conversion technology for the production of biomethane from CO₂ and hydrogen. This conversion process allows storage of renewable electricity using the existing vast natural gas network, while valorizing CO₂. The Methanation Gas Conversion technology was tested in the lab and validated on pilot-scale. OWS is currently looking for opportunities to demonstrate this new technology on an industrial scale.
