OWS is, since the late 90s, recognized by DIN CERTCO for industrial compostability testing. In this context, OWS has helped several hundreds of customers in performing the necessary testing for obtaining the accompanying conformity mark.

Early June, OWS was granted an extended certificate covering now, besides industrial compostability, also home compostability and biobased testing.
