Official start of the Brecht III plant development.

December 2025 - At DRANCO, we’re proud to announce that construction has officially started on the new VerdeR anaerobic digestion plant for IGEAN in Brecht, Belgium.

In the photo below, you can see a first visible construction achievement: the biogas flare, which safely and securely burns off biogas in case of an emergency. A relatively small component of the plant, but key to its safety. This step is an important milestone on the way to a modern, energy-efficient facility.
Our partner Van Roey also kicked off strongly today with drilling the foundation piles, which will soon form the base for the new pre-treatment and digestion plant.
As part of the Indaver Group, DRANCO combines its process expertise with Van Roey’s key construction capabilities and IGEAN’s circular ambitions.
